Stuck after completing a course focus

  • Moderator

    I just came across a bug in the web app. After I completed a Course focus (in my case, "A Weekend in Paris" in the EN -> FR course), I got to the screen that says

    You have completed all of our Unlimited Course Focuses – amazing! You can now continue learning with our General Language course.

    But if I click on the button "Learn General Language", nothing (visible) happens and I'm basically stuck on this screen.

    I can reproduce the problem in different browsers on Ubuntu Linux 16.04. Firefox and Chromium give different error messages in the console:

    Firefox 61.0 gives me this error message twice every time I click the button

    A reload doesn't solve the problem in neither browser, I have to wait until some cards are due for review.

    Yeah it's working fine now on both phone and PC

    @Henning-Kockerbeck, @Dima, @Anthony-Leonardo, @Michael

    Our developers fixed this issue, everything should be working fine now.

    Happy learning! 🙂

    Same happens to me, it's also visually messed up. And I don't think access to the sidebar should be revoked.

    Hey everybody,

    Thanks for letting us know, we'll look into it and figure out what's the case here.

    Just a short moderator note: Because it seems to be the same bug, I joined the two threads about it together.

  • I can't help, but I have the exact same problem. I did the ‘Weekend in Paris’ set, and once that was done, I was left stuck on the same page as you. Clicking ‘Learn General Language’ doesn't do anything.

  • Hi!

    I've completed the French general course and I ask the program to feed me another 100 words from time to time, but this time I'm just stuck at this screen. It doesn't allow me to choose another language or go into the menu.

    Addendum: If Google Translate didn't get me on the wrong track, this bug report seems to be at least related.
