How many words are there in the Russian course?

The title says it all.

Hi @Alex-Zorach!
To see the number of words in the whole course, go to -> Insights, above you can see "Total words learned: x of 4462".
Happy learning!

Can we get an update on this? This thread was a year old and I'm curious if many words have been added since then.
As a side note, I think it would be great for there to be a built-in feature to see the total number of words offered in a course automatically, so we didn't need to resort to asking a question in a forum.
It seems like this would be trivially easy to implement too. Perhaps we can all request this of the Lingvist team?

Hello Sabina,
first of all thanks for contributing to this wonderful project
Here is a discussion about the meaning of "word count".
5000 "Lemmas" or "Words"?What do you as a russian linguist think about that? How many unique words do we really learn in the russian course? And how do languages like English (no cases) compare to Russian (six cases)? Do learners of English have a better understanding of a random text, if they know 5000 words than a learner of the Russian language?
Kind regards
Michael

Hi @Robert
Currently the course has 2978 words, but I'm working towards reaching 5000. So there are more words to come soon
Happy learning with Lingvist!
