How do I tell which gender to decline for the word?
In many languages, you need to change the spelling or more of a word (declination), depending on whether or not the subject is masculine or feminine.
If you come across a sentence that doesn’t give you the gender of the subject, you can still figure out if the subject is masculine or feminine by looking at the grammatical information at the bottom of the card. You can press on the grammar tag for more information.
