Voice input doesn't work properly. Why?

The voice input Lingvist uses is implemented via API in the operation system on your phone (which is why it is not available on desktop). We can’t do anything to make the speech better, since we’re using a third-party feature to do it.

In general, we have found that voice recognition on Android works better for more of our learners than on Apple.

Also, some languages are easier to use when it comes to voice recognition. For example, many of our learners find the voice recognition feature in French difficult to use.

All we can recommend is to keep practicing your pronunciation!
